It was a gorgeous day outside - the perfect day for the Arbonboy Team to get their 100th Geocache!!! We spent the entire afternoon (1:00 - 7:00PM) yesterday with our neighbors, the Hirtzels out west of Utah Lake climbing hills with our pickups and grabbing some geocaches. Our 100th cache was called "Nutty Putty". After driving up a very rocky and steep terrain, we hiked a third of a mile up a hill to grab the cache. The cache was named after the Nutty Putty cave which was close by.
The Hirtzels were the ones that introduced us to Geocaching nearly two years ago. Although they had started geocaching only a couple of months before we did, they have found three times as many as we have. On this very trip they found their 300th geocache. We had a lot of fun driving on the dirt backroads of the desert and four-wheeling the rough places.
We got back home around 7:00 and our entire family was exhuasted!
